New Review – Lufthansa Senator Lounge München MUC (K11 Satellite Schengen)

Location and access

The opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 05:00 to 22:00 and therefore cover all flights very well. As there are two lounges next to each other, you have different access options. To the Senator with Star Alliance Gold status, to the Business Lounge with a Business Class ticket or Frequent Traveler status. HONs have the option of visiting both lounges or going a few meters further to the First Class Lounge. You can find the review here.

Amenities

The lounge is structured like a large “T”. After the entrance area, you can take magazines and lock up your luggage on the right-hand side.

On the left-hand side, a service counter will help you with questions about your flight, etc.

It then continues with various seating options. On the left-hand side there are smaller “boxes”, on the right-hand side there is an area with workstations and of course plenty of space with more comfortable seats.

Toilets and showers are also available here. Unfortunately I didn’t take any more pictures.

On the way to the large window front, there are also plenty of seats/tables in the middle, as well as a bar on the right-hand side.

At the back of the lounge there is a selection of food and drinks. This is in line with the standard of Lufthansa lounges and is very appealing in my opinion. Pretzels have of course also been thought of here 🙂

There is another seating area on both sides of the window front. From here you again have a beautiful view of the Tarmac.

Conclusion

I really like this Senator Lounge. One reason is certainly that you have daylight, but the selection of different seating options (regardless of whether you want to work, eat or relax) and the food on offer are also very good. It is rounded off with the possibility to take a shower and that you can be helped at the service desk in the lounge.
