New Review – Doubletree by Hilton Wroclaw / Breslau

Booking and Location

A friend and I each booked one night separately through the Hilton website. Why separately? We both wanted to earn a night credit, and since we both have Hilton Diamond status, booking this way allowed us to maximize our benefits. From Wroclaw’s Copernicus Airport,, we took an Uber and arrived at the hotel in about 25 minutes. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Wroclaw is located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery, approximately 15 minutes from the city center.

Check In

Initially, having two separate reservations under different names caused some confusion at check-in. However, the staff quickly resolved the issue, allowing us to stay in the same upgraded room for both nights without needing to switch rooms. The reception area also features a convenient business center.

Room

Our upgraded room was spacious but somewhat minimalistic. Upon entering, we noticed how much empty space there was—perhaps even more than necessary.

To the left was a generously sized bathroom with ample space.

As usual, most of the room was occupied by two comfortable beds, typical of DoubleTree hotels.

In addition to a TV, there were facilities for making coffee and tea. Besides a kettle, we were pleasantly surprised by a proper coffee machine.

Although seating options were provided, their placement felt somewhat random and awkward—perhaps a minor critique, but notable nonetheless.

Amenities

Guests with eligible status have access to the hotel’s executive lounge. Throughout the day, soft drinks are available, and in the evening there’s a selection of alcoholic beverages accompanied by snacks. However, these snacks shouldn’t be considered a substitute for dinner.

Breakfast turned out to be an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. After providing our room number at breakfast, we were shown to our table marked with a small “Diamond” sign. The buffet offered an extensive variety—from freshly prepared egg dishes and customizable fresh juices (you can mix your own) to an excellent selection of breads and spreads—everything you could possibly want was available.

The hotel also features excellent leisure amenities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna area, whirlpool, spa treatments, and a fully equipped fitness center accessible 24/7. These facilities are located on level minus one and accessible using your room key card.

We noticed the hotel also has ample parking space for over 600 cars.

Dining Options

The hotel’s Garden Restaurant serves delicious Polish and international cuisine crafted from fresh seasonal ingredients. The à la carte menu changes every six months to provide exciting culinary experiences. Additionally, themed Sunday brunches offer dishes from around the world.

Check Out

Checking out went much quicker than checking in did—everything went smoothly and efficiently. We received our invoice promptly while waiting for our Bolt ride.

Fazit

The hotel’s relatively short distance from downtown Wroclaw combined with excellent amenities and reasonable pricing made our two-night stay very enjoyable. Would I stay here again? In short: YES—I definitely would recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Wroclaw.
