New Review Hampton Dubai Airport – Dubai (DXB)

Booking

I was due to arrive in Dubai late in the evening and didn’t feel like driving into the city, so I opted for an airport hotel. I made the booking itself, a non-cancellable rate, via the Hilton app. As it was only going to be one night, I chose the cheapest room, a King Guest Room.

Location

Despite the name Hampton Dubai Airport, the hotel is around 15 minutes away by Uber, so you could also go into the city. The metro station is just under a 10-minute walk away.

Check In

Unfortunately, you can’t check in at the Hampton via the app, so I had to go to the counter briefly. I was given a soft drink. Unfortunately there was no upgrade, even as a Diamond Member.

Room

The first impression is okay, not forgetting that this is an airport hotel. At the entrance on the right is the bathroom with WC and bath. The brightness of the bathroom is good by hotel standards. As usual, the most necessary care products (shower gel and shampoo) are available.

IIn the room itself, there is a comfortable chair and a work surface next to the bed.

The TV with the relevant channels is clearly visible from the bed. As usual, there is a safe, ironing board and coffee machine. The water bottles provided by Hilton are also in the room. The minibar itself is empty and you can cool the water.

Bar / Restaurant

Breakfast is available as a buffet and okay, unfortunately overcrowded depending on the time.

There is also a bar, which was closed in the evening in addition to drinks.

Fitness center

The gym is well equipped and also offers enough variety for a longer workout.

Pool

The pool is on the 1st floor and offers a view of the hotel, nothing special but still spacious and cozy. The opening hours are from 7 am to 7 pm.

Check Out

The check-out was uncomplicated and friendly.

Conclusion

The stay was okay, certainly an inexpensive option to collect stays or nights.
