New Review – Hampton Inn by Hilton Tallinn

Location and booking

The Hilton hotel group now has a second hotel in Tallinn – I was able to visit this Hampton Inn by Hilton before it opened. Well, this was supposed to be the day of the opening, but there were some minor delays. I was therefore contacted in advance and also rebooked the Hilton I knew (which was also more expensive). Nevertheless, I was allowed to visit the Hampton Inn, which I really appreciated.

In terms of location, the Hampton Inn is only 300 meters away from the Hilton and can be reached very quickly and conveniently from the airport by public transport or an Uber/Bolt.

Check In

Yes, that was fine at such a late hour. Unfortunately they gave me the wrong times for breakfast which is a bit annoying. There is a bar next to the check-in and the possibility to buy snacks etc. By the way, the prices are very fair.

Rooms

Here are the pictures of the rooms I was allowed to visit in advance. Some will certainly recognize the Hampton touch here immediately – according to the motto “once a Hampton, always a Hampton”. Of course, it’s not that much different here either, but I mean this mainly in a positive way, like the beds, which are comfortable in my opinion. There are also some special touches here (as in the lobby) that I really appreciate.

In the entrance area of the room there is, as always, a cupboard on which there is a kettle with tea/coffee. There is also a built-in safe, fridge (empty) and iron.

The bathroom is compact but has everything you need. There is also a small storage area behind the toilet for other things. The bed takes up most of the room and there is a TV opposite.

Finally a hotel that spends a little more money from the outset and immediately installs USB A and C sockets.

In my opinion, a small seating area rounds off the whole thing very well.

Here are also some pictures for a wheelchair accessible room:

Amenities

As with any Hampton Inn by Hilton, breakfast is always included – so this Hampton is no exception. The selection is appealing, from the obligatory waffle machine to the choice of food.

In the lobby there is a bar next to the reception, but also many seating areas, some of which are very clever and nicely screened off. Power sockets have also been provided here. There is also a separate work area with a computer/printer.

In the far north, you often find a sauna in a hotel, and the Hampton is no exception. It is very small and is located right next to the gym (the gym is open 24/7, the sauna in the mornings and evenings).

Check Out

Was friendly and efficient.

Fazit

In addition to all the Radisson hotels, it’s nice to have another Hilton brand. There are probably a few teething problems here and there, but the price/performance ratio is very fair so far. Would I come back here? Definitely a yes.
