New Review – Hilton Munich Airport (MUC) – updated

First of all – here is an update for the Hilton Munich Airport. The first review was during Corona and therefore not everything was open (yes we all remember that…) So I thought it was time to refresh this review a bit. Have fun reading it!

Not far from Munich Airport is the Hilton Munich Airport which is easy to reach after a short walk.

Check In

Yes, I really have to compliment you on this, no matter who I’ve been in contact with at the Hilton so far, everyone has always been super friendly and helpful.

Due to the Hilton Diamond membership, I got a nice upgrade to a familiar room on the so-called Executive Level.

Yes, it is noticeable here that there is no Nespresso machine. However, it will be supplied on request and includes a considerable amount of coffee.
Two free bottles of water were also in the room.
Due to the Corona regulations and because there was no lounge, the contents of the fridge were included. I was also made aware of this nice detail at check-in. For me, these “little” touches are the things that I always remember.

Bathroom

It has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean and I had no reason for any complaints.

As the lounge was closed you could order from the bar menu which was then brought to your room at no extra charge, another point that is absolutely positive for me.

Of course you can still order something, but the lounge is open again and offers a good selection of food and drinks throughout the day.

There is plenty of seating and soft drinks during the day.

During the so-called happy hour it gets noticeably fuller here, but the staff are very careful to ensure that you only take something after the specified time.

Breakfast

You could simply order this the evening before and it would be delivered on time the next morning. This is still possible via room service, but that’s how I tried it during Corona and received it at no extra charge.

The quality of everything was great and they even brought more than was ordered.

Alternatively, you can also have breakfast in the restaurant (or with Diamond status in the lounge, but unfortunately I don’t have any pictures). In my opinion, the selection in the restaurant is very successful and generous. I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves. However, there is one comment: one employee said very nicely that they sometimes don’t keep up with replenishing the food due to a lack of staff. I only noticed this in passing but found it astonishing that I was told this as a guest.

What’s still missing? Exactly – the opportunity to work off all that food. You can do this in the gym or the pool. The pool is a little hidden. You have to go to -1 and then choose the spa. This also means there is no daylight.

This went very quickly and efficiently, the invoice was correct and was sent to me by e-mail.

Conclusion

I would recommend this hotel without reservation and would be happy to come back here at any time. The personal service and dedication of the staff simply makes the difference.
