New Review – Tallinn Airport Lounge by LHV (TLL)

Introduction

Thanks to a very kind invitation from Tallinn Airport, I was able to visit this lounge very early. A big thank you for that! As always, however, my review reflects my own opinion.

For a comparison with the old lounge, I would like to refer you to my first article from 2022.

Location and access

The opening hours are daily from 04:30 am to 10:00 pm and thus cover most flights at Tallinn Airport. You can also buy admission for a stay of 3 hours here for 45 euros. Personally, I find the price very high, especially as there are plenty of other ways to get into the lounge at a cheaper price.

Coming out of duty free, simply walk straight ahead. After a few meters you will find the stairs or lift to the lounge on the left-hand side. You can access the lounge with the usual frequent flyer cards or with lounge passes such as the PriorityPass.

Amenities

It is immediately apparent that a lot has been done here. The lounge has been enlarged and shines in bright colors and lots of locally sourced wood. I particularly liked the people in the shape of birds.

If you walk to the left, there is a small separate area here. Here you have thought of the details such as sockets in the which I find very good.

The toilets as well as the shower have also undergone a basic renovation. Both are now very bright and modernly furnished.

For the showers, you just need to inform the reception briefly. Towels, etc., are all sufficiently available.

A new feature is definitely that there is now hot food available starting from lunchtime. This complements the sandwiches and the salad bar. However, one shouldn’t expect too much. The same food is served daily. Additionally, there is a selection of drinks that you can help yourself to.

There was also an expansion of the lounge. Where there used to be a hidden meeting room, there are now much more seating options as well as a small play area for children. Additionally, there are drinks available for self-service.

The meeting room has also been replaced with a new one. Across from it, there is now even a space to stretch. It’s a nice idea that I really like.

What stands out is that there is a lot of natural light in the lounge. The seating along the window front has also remained in a new arrangement and has been upgraded.

Anyone who wants to make calls in private still has a small work booth, and there is also the option to print something.

Smokers have also been taken into account, and the terrace has been improved with some seating furniture.

Conclusion

For me, the renovated lounge is definitely an upgrade compared to the old one. It is clearly not positioned as a premium lounge, but rather as a good place to relax and work before a flight. The food offerings have been upgraded, and the lounge is definitely worth a visit.
