New Review – Lounge Ben Gurion (TLV)

Location and Access

The lounge options at Tel Aviv Airport (Ben Gurion) are relatively limited, so we ended up in the one available lounge. Access was granted with our Lufthansa Business Class ticket, but you can also enter with a PriorityPass or similar access cards. However, it’s important to note that access is only allowed up to two hours before your flight departs.

Amenities

Well, let me keep this short, though I’ll try not to sound too negative. The lounge space is divided into different seating areas. On both sides, there’s a coffee machine, and on the left side, there’s a small bar that serves wine.

Additionally, there’s a small buffet, although it didn’t look particularly appetizing. Soft drinks, including Coca-Cola, are available at the bar, and depending on how busy the staff is, you can also help yourself. The buffet mainly consisted of packaged items, some salad, and cookies.

I don’t want to sound too harsh—the lounge is certainly better than sitting on the benches outside, but don’t set your expectations too high. The lounge also has restroom facilities, which is a plus, but they could use a bit more upkeep.

Conclusion

Given that you never know how long the security checks at the airport will take, the lounge is definitely useful for waiting. However, I wouldn’t recommend planning extra time specifically for this lounge. It’s good for a quick rest, but not a place to spend an extended period unless you don’t mind limited amenities.
