New Review – Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt Airport (FRA)

Booking and location Thanks to the maximum discount thanks to the VIP status, I first tried it as usual via the app. But then I just tried to see if there was a cashback promotion – and lo and behold, I only paid EUR 62.52 via the homepage as normal and there’s another 10% back at some point. The location is one of those things. You can take the S9 one stop, or take a taxi/Uber. Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer a hotel shuttle. Therefore, you should also take…

New Review – Steigenberger Airport Hotel (BER)

Location and booking As the Steigenberger Airport Hotel is one of the few hotels at BER that is directly at the airport, I decided to stay there for the early flight. Unfortunately, you can’t expect any signage at BER for the hotel. You have to walk towards the S-Bahn and then straight back up again. Theoretically, you could also walk across the forecourt where the cabs are parked, but this is not appreciated. I had purchased a voucher in advance at a sale (15% discount) and that’s where the problem…

New Review – Executive Lounge Breslau (WRO)

Location and access The location is actually quite easy to explain. As soon as you pass through security and Duty Free, walk to the other end of the terminal (i.e. to the left). Shortly before the end, you will find the lounge on the left-hand side. Access is possible via virtually all programs. From PriorityPass, Dragon Pass, or with a business or status with an airline (from gold status). So this part should be quite easy. As always, please feel free to write to me if you have any questions.…

New Review – Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Budapest

Introduction and booking Check In The well-known upgrade game was played. Although it was already late, I didn’t want to bother with it today, so I started discussing it. Suddenly, as if by magic, an upgrade was available. Unfortunately, it had a rather bland aftertaste that I personally have trouble with. The benefits of my Titanium status were briefly explained to me (just 500 welcome points or a 10 EUR food and beverage voucher) and then I went to my room. As I was leaving rather early, I decided to…

New Review – Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Arnavutkoy

Introduction and booking “Let’s go to Istanbul, we don’t know the new and huge airport yet….or?” This or something similar is how the travel planning began in a lounge. No sooner said than done. We decided to go on this little trip because we didn’t want to sleep at the airport, so we opted for the Hampton by Hilton. (Yes, there is also a transit hotel, but this was outrageously expensive). In retrospect, the transfer via Uber turned out to be a little more difficult, so we took a cab…
