New Review – Lufthansa Business Lounge München MUC (K11 Satellite Schengen)

Location and access

Well, if we’re already writing a review of the Senator Lounge, then there’s also one for the Business Lounge. Both share a reception area, as well as the service desk behind the reception.

You can gain access with Lufthansa Frequent Traveler status (Star Silver) or a Lufthansa Business Class ticket from the same day. Unfortunately, you do not have access with these conditions when arriving; for this you need Senator/HON status.

Amenities

There are also lockers here – and there are not only toilets but also showers. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the latter, but I’m happy to refer you to the Lufthansa Loungefinder.

When you enter this lounge, you will find the service desk again (this time on the right-hand side).

Further back there are different seating areas. Unfortunately, it was a little crowded here so I wasn’t able to take enough meaningful pictures. Nevertheless, with patience it was enough for one or two pictures.

Food and drinks are set up near the windows and looked quite good.

Conclusion

People often ask how big the difference is between the Business and Senator Lounge. When I’m in a Business Lounge, the biggest difference for me is that it’s much more crowded. The food on offer varies and is somewhat smaller than in the Senator Lounge, as is the range of drinks – but it is still a lounge that offers everything you need for a stay. Workstations, food, drink and in this case even showers – so I’m usually very happy with that.
