New Review – British Airways Lounge Geneva (GVA)

Terminal 1 in Geneva offers several lounges in the Schengen area. British Airways also has its own lounge, the special thing is that it is still in the Schengen area.

Location and access

The British Airways Lounge is located after the security check on the upper floor of Terminal 1 and is well signposted.

Access to the lounge is available to customers in Business and First Class, as well as oneworld status customers at Sapphire and Emerald level.

Amenities

The lounge is very bright and the design tries to give a futuristic touch with traditional values. With wooden elements, the lounge is classic and pleasantly friendly.

A positive surprise is that every seat has a socket with a Swiss and UK power connection and USB plug.

Unfortunately, the toilets are accessible in the corridor for all passengers and all lounges.

A Wifi code is handed out right at the entrance, which is very convenient.

The selection of soft drinks, hot drinks and alcohol is generous. The food is of good quality and covers delicious regional specialties as well as an international touch.

In the lounge there are several screens showing the departures, so it is very clear, for British Airways flights a boarding announcement is made, as passport control is still pending.

Conclusion

The lounge is definitely worth a visit to relax a little before your flight.
