New Review – Hilton Munich Airport (MUC) – updated

First of all – here is an update for the Hilton Munich Airport. The first review was during Corona and therefore not everything was open (yes we all remember that…) So I thought it was time to refresh this review a bit. Have fun reading it! Not far from Munich Airport is the Hilton Munich Airport which is easy to reach after a short walk. Check In Yes, I really have to compliment you on this, no matter who I’ve been in contact with at the Hilton so far, everyone…

New Review – Lufthansa First Class Lounge München (MUC) Satellite

Location and Access This Lufthansa First Class Lounge is located near K11 and L11. The opening hours are currently from Monday to Sunday between 05:00 and 22:00. You can gain access with a First Class ticket (or connecting flight) on a Lufthansa / Swiss flight or as a Miles and More HON Circle. If you are departing from the L gates, you also have the option of going directly through passport control here. You know that you can book the Lufthansa groups with us via the affiliate links, right? There…

New Review – Lufthansa Senator Lounge München MUC (K11 Satellite Schengen)

Location and access The opening hours are Monday to Sunday from 05:00 to 22:00 and therefore cover all flights very well. As there are two lounges next to each other, you have different access options. To the Senator with Star Alliance Gold status, to the Business Lounge with a Business Class ticket or Frequent Traveler status. HONs have the option of visiting both lounges or going a few meters further to the First Class Lounge. You can find the review here. Amenities The lounge is structured like a large “T”.…

New Review – Lufthansa Business Lounge München MUC (K11 Satellite Schengen)

Location and access Well, if we’re already writing a review of the Senator Lounge, then there’s also one for the Business Lounge. Both share a reception area, as well as the service desk behind the reception. You can gain access with Lufthansa Frequent Traveler status (Star Silver) or a Lufthansa Business Class ticket from the same day. Unfortunately, you do not have access with these conditions when arriving; for this you need Senator/HON status. Amenities There are also lockers here – and there are not only toilets but also showers.…

New Review – Park Inn by Radisson Frankfurt Airport (FRA)

Booking and location Thanks to the maximum discount thanks to the VIP status, I first tried it as usual via the app. But then I just tried to see if there was a cashback promotion – and lo and behold, I only paid EUR 62.52 via the homepage as normal and there’s another 10% back at some point. The location is one of those things. You can take the S9 one stop, or take a taxi/Uber. Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer a hotel shuttle. Therefore, you should also take…

New Review – Steigenberger Airport Hotel (BER)

Location and booking As the Steigenberger Airport Hotel is one of the few hotels at BER that is directly at the airport, I decided to stay there for the early flight. Unfortunately, you can’t expect any signage at BER for the hotel. You have to walk towards the S-Bahn and then straight back up again. Theoretically, you could also walk across the forecourt where the cabs are parked, but this is not appreciated. I had purchased a voucher in advance at a sale (15% discount) and that’s where the problem…

New Review – Executive Lounge Breslau (WRO)

Location and access The location is actually quite easy to explain. As soon as you pass through security and Duty Free, walk to the other end of the terminal (i.e. to the left). Shortly before the end, you will find the lounge on the left-hand side. Access is possible via virtually all programs. From PriorityPass, Dragon Pass, or with a business or status with an airline (from gold status). So this part should be quite easy. As always, please feel free to write to me if you have any questions.…

New Review – Hotel Courtyard by Marriott Budapest

Introduction and booking Check In The well-known upgrade game was played. Although it was already late, I didn’t want to bother with it today, so I started discussing it. Suddenly, as if by magic, an upgrade was available. Unfortunately, it had a rather bland aftertaste that I personally have trouble with. The benefits of my Titanium status were briefly explained to me (just 500 welcome points or a 10 EUR food and beverage voucher) and then I went to my room. As I was leaving rather early, I decided to…

New Review – Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Arnavutkoy

Introduction and booking “Let’s go to Istanbul, we don’t know the new and huge airport yet….or?” This or something similar is how the travel planning began in a lounge. No sooner said than done. We decided to go on this little trip because we didn’t want to sleep at the airport, so we opted for the Hampton by Hilton. (Yes, there is also a transit hotel, but this was outrageously expensive). In retrospect, the transfer via Uber turned out to be a little more difficult, so we took a cab…
