New Review – Marriott Hotel Warschau (WAW)

Location and booking

I booked the hotel via the Rakuten cashback site to get a small discount. From the outside, the hotel looks a little dated. But since I wanted to experience something new, I stayed here for one night. I took a Bolt from Warsaw airport for about 20 minutes at a very fair price. Check In

I arrived shortly before the official check-in time, but my room was already ready, which I was very pleased about. I was also surprised with an upgrade, which I really appreciated. The times of the M-Club and breakfast times were briefly explained and then I went to my room.

Room

First of all, the highlight of the room for me was the view!

There was also a nice little welcome gift.

To my shame, I have to admit that I no longer have or had all the pictures on my phone. So here’s just a little insight into the room and a reminder for me to pay more attention next time 🙁 What I did notice was that the room, including the bathroom, was very bright and friendly. This was not necessarily clear when I walked through the rather dark corridor to the room.

As always, I make sure there are enough power sockets in the room, and this was definitely the case. Even though I don’t have the bed in the pictures – it was still very comfortable.

Amenities

The M-Club is on the second floor and can be opened with the room card. You’re basically sitting one floor above the lobby and everything is open. You have to like that, but I found it a nice change.

Soft drinks are available throughout the day and more food and alcoholic drinks are offered during a happy hour in the evening. Overall, I found the offer very appealing.

If you want to exercise, there is a pool or a gym which is open 24/7. The pool is really big and you can almost swim laps there.

Breakfast is served in the Floor N2 Restaurant. It was quite crowded here in the morning so I had trouble taking some good pictures.

Check Out

After a phone call, I was granted a late check-out, which I gratefully accepted. But above all so that I didn’t have to keep an eye on the minute and could take everything in my stride. The bill was correct and was sent to me by email later that day.

Conclusion

For me it was a nice change to get to know another hotel and overall I was very satisfied with my stay. The Hilton seems to offer me a little more here and there, but this hotel impresses with a pool that you don’t have everywhere. In short: if the price is right, I will gladly come back
